Liquid Chocolate . . . kind of

This might be one of the most significant posts I've ever put up. You have to try this tea. Still stuck in bed. I guess stuck may not be the most accurate word. I could get up and work but I would be miserable. Woke up this morning at 8:30. After a couple of cups of tea (so far: Orange Dulce, Chocolate Mint and Amazon Citrus or something like that). I'm so dehydrated! I can't seem to get enough to drink. Anyway, after hanging out and drinking for a while I looked at the clock and it was 10:30 and I was just like who cares. I know when I am really not feeling up to anything when watching brainless stuff on t.v. becomes appealing. That's not usually too much like me. It's too challenging to process anything much more complex than that. So anyhow. I tried to photograph the tea Space Odyssey style but couldn't really get the perspective I wanted. Well, hopefully tomorrow there will be potting.

Hey. Sorry to hear you're still under the weather. That tea looks pretty tasty, may have to pick some up soon. I like the new template, esp. the header image.

I like the format change (it did change didn't it?). Feel better, I was sick in August and I am still coughing up "ick" from that. Love the looks of this tea.

Ooh, I like the bright fresh new page, that makes me want to freshen up a bit. I love any Stash brand tea, I'll have to try some...I'm obsessed with tea drinking these days, my favorite one is Stash Chai, they make it the strongest.

By the way, how did you so easily create your banner with 3 images and words over the top? I'm photoshop illiterate and I've been trying to do a row of detail shots with my blog title on top of them in photoshop, but I'm not getting anywhere but frustrated! Yours looks great!

Hi everyone. Thanks for the nice words. I just needed something brighter. The format did change a some. Posts are on the right now. I think I kind of like it.

I never used to be a huge tea drinker, but am growing to really like it. Especially black teas. I do like this one-not as chocolately as my title might imply, but tasty and has a great aroma. Stash also makes a double spice chai tea that I had once. It was awesome. I've never seen it in the stores, but almost ordered it on Amazon once. Trouble is you have to buy like six or eight boxes.

I didn't use Photoshop. I have it on my computer and have not taken the time yet to learn it. I just used HP photo software and stitched them together using the panorama creator on it. I got lucky that three photos fit in well, and I just asked blogger to put the image behind the blog title. If you want to use Photoshop, check youtube. I think they have some tutorials on there.

Thanks for the well-wishes everyone!

Whoa...now a juried member of League of NH Craftsmen? Way cool. I like the new style too. Brighter...I like brighter. I like mint and chocolate too. Might have to try and find some of that tea. Get well. Gosh, that sounds stupid doesn't it? Of course you want to get well. That's like saying "drive safely." Duh. Congrats again on the acceptance.

funny Tom. If only it were that easy. Get well-oh, okay! I am feeling a little better today. doing a lot of Tracey's coughing up of unspeakables. I did get fully accepted to the League, so in theory at least, that's behind me. I will still have to get anything radically different, like these bird basins I have been working on "approved". Although I recognize the desire for them to maintain standards, it still feels kind of like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

Hi Deborah, my favorite tea is Tazo, Sweet Orange. I'm going to look for that Chocolate Mint - I love that combination in cookies and also ice cream, hope you feel better.

hey- hope you are much better today. I am heading up to fix a cup of tea and get ready to load the kiln- I am hiding over here at your blog maybe Mark won't find me...
How soon before you will fire the bird basins? You have our approval!

Thanks for the well wishes L and C. I would love to say I am better-thought I might have been improving yesterday, but again spent most of the day in bed. I'm not used to the luxury of being sick. When my kids were little I was up and caring for them sick or not. Then when I was on my own for a while, I had to support myself so I worked sick or not. I wonder though if by staying sedentary in bed helps or hinders how quickly one gets better? Hard tellin' not knowin' as they say.

Oh, the birdbaths. That all depends on drying. I think they will take a good solid month to dry all the way. Even then I will fire them slowly.
