Thirsty little bird

Here is as far as I got before I had to leave. The little bird is like a 60 second bird, but I wanted it in the photo for effect, I am planning to put one on the top. Still got a little work to do, but I really like this. I already have another idea for my next one. It will be CRAZY!

I'm hooked. Anything that has to do with birds and stones ALWAYS speaks to me. This is looking GREAT!

Thanks guys-and thanks for stopping by Becky. I just popped over to your blog to check it out and the first thing I saw were all the little birds! I printed out some photos of birds from the internet today, otherwise mine will look like bird aliens. Then I remembered I had been to your blog before because I had commented on that really great dog from the firing.

Hi Deborah - Very nice.! I hope you don't make the bird too "realistic." I think a simple shape goes best with your Stonepool design.

This is fantastic - can't wait to see the next one!

How tall is this?

Thanks Patricia and Cynthia. I plan on keeping the birds pretty simple...but you never know what might happen. You might just see a white little bird sometime with black polka dots. The tallest one is about 24" tall. I almost lost it today trying to take it off my banding wheel so I could use it for my next one. I think if I'm going to keep this up I might need more banding wheels.
